Tenders are hereby invited for the Transport of Containerised Municipal Solid Waste and Chipping of Bush Waste for a Contract Period Ending 30 June 2024.

Tender documents, in English, are obtainable from Friday, 17 September 2021, at the offices of the Supply Chain Management Unit, Overstrand Municipality, 1 Magnolia Avenue, Hermanus from Mrs. Rita Theron, between 08h30 and 15h30 upon payment of a tender documentation fee of R210-00 per set.

Sealed tenders, with “Tender No. SC2244/2021:Transport of Containerised Municipal Solid Waste and Chipping of Bush Waste for a Contract Period Ending 30 June 2024“ clearly endorsed on the envelope, must be deposited in Tender Box No. 4 at the offices of the Overstrand Municipality, Magnolia Avenue, Hermanus.

Bids may only be submitted on the bid documentation issued by Overstrand Municipality. The successful tenderer must subcontract a minimum of 30% of the value of the contract to advance designated groups as contemplated in terms of Regulation 9(2) of the Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2017.

A compulsory information session will be held at 10h00 on 29 September 2021 at Thusong Centre, Hawston, Hermanus. (S -34.39 11 74 E19.13 43 06).

The closing date and time of the tender is on 22 October 2021 at 12h00 and tenders will be opened in public immediately thereafter in the Supply Chain Management Committee Room, Hermanus Administration or as indicated by SCM personnel.
