Appointment of a panel of service providers to provide debt collection services for City of Mbombela on an ad-hoc basis for a period of 3 years

Bids are hereby invited from experienced and capable service providers to provide debt collection services for City of Mbombela on an ad-hoc basis for a period of three (3) years.

It is compulsory that service providers download a copy of the bid document that will ONLY be available as from 12 May 2021 on the National e-Tender Portal: www.etenders.gov.za and City’s website: www.mbombela.gov.za, free of charge.

Duly completed bid documents and supporting documents which are, ID COPIES OF BUSINESS OWNERS, VALID TAX COMPLIANCE STATUS, RATES AND TAXES CERTIFICATE FROM RELEVANT AUTHORITY / LEASE AGREEMENT / PROOF OR RES IN CASE OF A TRIBAL AUTHORITY, CERTIFIED COPY OF B-BBEE CERTIFICATE / SWORN AFFIDAVIT FOR B-BBEE, a copy of the COMPANY REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE AND FULL CSD REGISTRATION REPORT (SUMMARY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED), together with the bid document must be sealed in an envelope clearly marked: “BID NO: 304/2021: APPOINTMENT OF A PANEL OF SERVICE PROVIDERS TO PROVIDE DEBT COLLECTION SERVICES FOR CITY OF MBOMBELA ON AN AD-HOC BASIS FOR A PERIOD OF 3 YEARS, closing date 18 JUNE 2021” with the name of the bidder shall be placed in the bid box at MBOMBELA CIVIC CENTRE at 1 NEL STREET, MBOMBELA, before 11:00 on the closing date.

Bids received by telegram, fax or e-mail will not be considered. Late bids shall not be accepted nor considered. A successful bidder must be able to commence with audit work within 30 days from the date of appointment.

No compulsory briefing will be held, technical enquiries may be directed to the project manager on the details below.

A preferential point system shall apply where by this contract will be allocated to a bidder in accordance with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, act no. 5 of 2000 and as defined in the conditions of bid in the bid document, read in conjunction Preferential Procurement Regulations of 2017, where 80 points will be allocated in respect of price and 20 points in respect of B-BBEE status level of contribution.
